Rachel Nordtømme - run with me

The reason I'm writing this in english is because it's really a tribute to my new awsome Aussie friends.

I met some pretty great guys when I was working for TV 2 at the Bislett games. I actually met them a couple of days before the games when Asafa Powell was training on Bislett. They were working for Foxtel, recording the TV-show Eddie McGuire Tonight. I told them I just started working as a reporter, and we talked about athletics, what a great job sportsreporting is and how to be a good one. I was so lucky to be invited to dinner, so we went to Big horn steakhouse on Aker Brygge. We had a really good time. 

The day before Bislett games i got to watch the one on one interview they had with Sally Pearson, and i basicly got an invitation to the world exclusive one on one with both Usain Bolt and Asafa Powell as well. They said i should come, but not who they were interviewing.. I didnt go, and really regret it now.

On Bislett games I was working VJ, which means I was interviewing and holding the camera. They helped me hold the camera sometimes and gave me good advice, which i'm gonna take with me on the road towards becoming a great reporter some day. 

You're the best! Thanks for letting me hang around you guys for three days and learn from you. I really enjoyd it :-D
